Disparities in the labour market

This project explores disparities between sub-populations in the labour market. It focuses on measuring disparities of gender and origin (immigrants and their descendents), and the impact of family behaviour (births, separations) on inequalities in access to work and in wages. Three research themes will be developed. The first concerns the effect of family events on gender disparities in the labour market. The second focuses on the obstacles to economic integration faced by immigrants and their descendents, and the third examines how these disparities evolve in times of crisis.
