Eric Brian is an associate researcher at INED, in charge of Research Unit 11 "History and Populations, History of Sciences, Social and Economic History" and scientific advisor for the collection " Classiques de l’économie et de la population " (Editions de l’Ined).

He is full Professor at EHESS (Centre Alexandre Koyre – History) (seminars: "History and Evaluation of Probabilities" and "Mathematics and Social Sciences in History").
