This project for a new centre of excellence in the social sciences brings together INED, the École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS), the École pratique des hautes études (EPHE), the École nationale des chartes, Université Paris I, Université Paris VIII, Université Paris XIII and the Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS).

Campus Condorcet, scheduled to open in 2015, will be built on two sites to the north of Paris, at Porte de la Chapelle and Aubervilliers.

As a centre for scholarship and advanced research in the humanities and the social sciences, Campus Condorcet will stimulate scientific cooperation between the project partners and will foster international collaboration.
