The data protection officer (CIL) is responsible for legal compliance in security matters within the Institute.
The post of data protection officer (CIL) at INED was created in 2004. Their work may take several forms: advice, recommendations, awareness-raising, mediation and warnings in the event of dysfunction.
INED has appointed a data protection officer to ensure legal compliance in the processing of personal data for which it is responsible and to simplify declaration formalities in its dealings with the French data protection agency (CNIL).The list of data processing operations involving personal data can be viewed on INED's website. The list is also displayed on its premises and published on the Intranet.
