Transnationality of Migrants: Enduring ties with the home country and integration in the host country This Research Training Network, coordinated by the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), will develop from Janauary 2007 a training programme through research for young researchers from across Europe to enhance skills in the field of international migration study. Five themes will be addressed by the network: - Migrant's transnational practices and families in Europe
- Remittances, skill composition of migration and social networks
- International trade flows, foreign direct investment and migration
- Migrant's integration, regional mobility, social and business networks and trade
- Gender and the intra-household effects of migration
