Universities and research centres

In France, INED has developed close ties with other research bodies such as IRD, INSERM and CNRS, some of whose research projects, like those of INED, are linked to population questions. INED also works in collaboration with French universities and institutes of higher education.

Public bodies

To accomplish its mission as an information provider to the French government, INED maintains close ties with several public bodies (CNAV, CNAF), and with the services of different ministries (DARES, DGAS, DREES). It works in close partnership with the French National Institute for Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE), which conducts the census and establishes initial demographic indicators.

Other partnerships

INED also works with various associations on specific projects. Two examples include research into cystic fibrosis and the question of adoption, for which partnerships were set up respectively with the Association française de lutte contre la mucoviscidose and the Association française des parents adoptifs.
