The International College of Territorial sciences, a federative Scientific Interest Grouping, aims to:

• Develop the research capacities of the Paris region on a European and international scale;
  
  
• Promote training in research and through research;
  
  
• Showcase research in the territorial sciences conducted in the Paris region;
  
  
• Coordinate and harmonize research initiatives in the Paris region, giving priority to networking and the development of shared infrastructures;
  
  
• Foster new research programmes and new research teams;
  
  
• Circulate information between partners about their programmes;
  
  
• Contribute to research coordination and follow-up between partners;
  
  
• Provide links with the research programmes of the European Union, member states and other countries;
  
  
• Promote and support research activities in the territorial sciences.
