Elfe (French Longitudinal Study of Children) - Ined, Insee, Inserm, Invs, Drees, Depp, Dgs, Dep

The project Elfe aims at building a cohort of 20,000 children, nationally representative, to be followed from birth to adulthood under a multidisciplinary approach.
The longitudinal study should be a unique source of data to analyse the child's development in its context, allowing to study the various factors interacting all over the life course up to adulthood (family structure, social and physical environment, schooling, health and nutritional behaviour...) and to clarify the impact of the experience lived during infancy on the individual's physical, psychological, social and professional development. From an epidemiological point of view, it will be possible to measure the cumulative exposures to specific environmental conditions or behaviours year after year and to analyse their consequences on social and health inequalities.

Global Migrant Origin Database - Development Research Centre on Migration, Globalisation and Poverty (Migration DRC)

The global data base consists of a matrix of origin-destination stocks by country and economy. The data are generated by disaggregating the information on migrant stock in each destination country or economy as given in its census. The reference period is the 2000 round. Four versions of the database are currently available, giving increasing levels of completeness, but decreasing levels of accuracy as the missing data are added via assumption and interpolation with each successive version. Users of the higher numbered versions should be aware of the limitations that this imposes.
