Catalogue du Système universitaire de documentation (Sudoc)http://www.sudoc.abes.fr/
SUDOC (Système universitaire de documentation) is a bibliographic database run by the Agence bibliographique de l'enseignement supérieur. It currently includes more than 7 million bibliographic records from the catalogues of around 3400 documentation centres in France (academic libraries, higher education establishments).
You can use the Catalogue base to search for all types of document (monographs, periodicals, research theses, multimedia documents, etc.), either directly from the home page by title, author, etc., or by clicking on the left-hand side of the screen to search by subject (just type in the first letters of a word) or make an advanced search. Each record indicates the document location (icon at the bottom of the page) You can then choose to: - view the documents, by contacting the libraries where they are held. Full contact details are given in the Répertoire des centres de ressources. - or request them through your library loan service via an inter-library loan Note: Parisian libraries do not lend to other Parisian libraries, but ask borrowers to go directly to the holding library. INED has been a SUDOC member since 2004. Almost one-third of the documents catalogued in INEDOC (notably all INED publications including working documents) are currently indexed in SUDOC. Other INED collections will be included subsequently. Note: the keywords used in SUDOC are different from those used in INEDOC. |
