Fertility, Families and Couples

    This research unit focuses on trends in marriage, PACS, common-law relationships and the family in France and other countries. It studies the diffusion of new forms of partnership and family structures and examines changes in the family environment affecting children. It monitors fertility trends and the factors affecting fertility, notably child desire, fecundity, contraception and induced abortion.
