International migrations and minorities This unit studies international migration and its impact on individuals and on the societies in both sending and receiving countries. Its research focuses on the reasons for migrating, the practical modalities of migration, the integration of immigrant populations and the problems of discrimination they encounter. The unit also studies minorities and the way in which they forge an identity in parallel with their sociodemographic dynamics.
