Confirm oneself from reception of confidential letters (before 3 March 2023 at 12:00 PM, noon, Paris time). Applicants are responsible for checking the transmission of these letters. A receipt of application will be sent by email. Any application without reference letters will be deemed incomplete and considered inadmissible by the Admissions Committee.
INED and the iPOPs research centers are inviting applications for two post-doctoral positions:
- One one-year post-doctoral position in one of INED’s 11 units (10 research unit and one mixed service unit)
- One one-year post-doctoral position in one of iPOPs partners’ 6 laboratory research units
The proposed research project must tie in with the thematic and methodological focuses of the iPOPs Labex: namely family dynamics, ageing, social inequality, gender inequality, generational inequality, territorial inequalities and public policies. See the iPOPs website for further information.
The applicant must fulfil the following three criteria :
The applicant must hold a PhD awarded after 30/09/2020, or have defended their dissertation prior to the start date of the post-doctoral contract (15/12/2023) at the latest) in a discipline related to the population sciences, (demography, economics,
epidemiology, history and sociology, etc...);
The applicant must not have been hosted at the requested host institution during their doctoral research for a total period of six months or more, nor have been employed at their host institution for a year or more during the past three years
The applicant must have the endorsement of a mentor who commits to support them throughout their period of employment. Applicants should directly contact researchers at INED or in partner laboratories. (See Annexes 1 & 2).
There are no restrictions in terms of age or nationality.
