Applying with outside funding

Application to a PhD reception in Ined for thesis funded outside Ined are possible through the whole year. The assessment procedure of the files generally lasts between 4 and 6 weeks.

It is possible to apply before obtaining the outside funding. In that case, a favourable decision of the reception in Ined will depend on the procurement of the funding. 

From the moment that the file has favourably been assessed, Ined can deliver an attestation informing that the institute formally engages to welcome the PhD student if he obtains the funding.

This attestation is sometimes necessary in the application files to the PhD funding. Thus, we recommend for the candidates to apply at least 2 months before the limit date of the deposit of the funding request file.
