INED is relatively small research institute, and that's a real strength, as it allows for speedy, direct contact and connections between members.
What makes INED unique for me is its position at the intersection of research and public action. People here are working in the service of knowledge about important social subjects, and that gives meaning to what we do on a daily basis.
I see myself as a kind of “translator” between legal language and the operational needs of researchers.
Statistical service technicians and INED colleagues are always ready to assist each other.
