European and developed countries
Europe and developed countries
This section provides data tables on populations, births and
deaths in Europe and in developed countries. It also includes
indicators of population change (birth and death rates) and the two
main demographic indicators: the total fertility rate and life
expectancy at birth.
Developed countries database
You can use the database to construct tables and graphs by
selecting the relevant demographic indicators (from a list of 33),
countries and years (often from 1900 or 1950). The database was
created and maintained by Alain Monnier up to 2007. Since then it
has been updated by Alexandre Avdeev. He will be pleased to receive
your comments or suggestions (avdeev@ined.fr).
